Micro Monday: “The Biology Lesson”

The sign above the dispenser proudly announced, Kills 99.99% of All Household Germs! Wiggins didn’t event think of this as he dispensed a pile of the clear gel into his palm and spread it over his hands.

Unfortunately, riding on his hand were a few of the .01% of the household germs that the gel did nothing for. And when Wiggins scratched his nose later that day, they made his way into his sinuses and then into his lungs, where they found it hospitable and moved in to stay.

Within 18 months, 99.99% of the world’s population would be dead.

And I’ve been drinking from a broken cup

  2. Great call on the title – wish I’d thought of that.
